Gingerbread House Decorating Contest

Liv For Sweets Bakery wants to welcome you to join the 3rd Annual Pilot Mountain Gingerbread House Decorating Contest!

This is an at-home event that you will be bringing to display at Liv For Sweets Bakery for the community to vote on! There will be no decorating gingerbread houses on site.

After the year we’ve all had, we want to make sure everyone has fun this holiday season! Plus, there will be cash prizes, gift cards, and ribbons to the winners!!
This contest is OPEN TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE!
So, grab some gingerbread, a cup of hot cocoa, put on a Christmas movie, and get to decorating!!
Rules & Regulations
**Please read all rules and regulations carefully**
Liv For Sweets Bakery will be displaying the gingerbread houses in their party studio (located in the back of the bakery) for the community to walk through and vote for their favorite! Voting will be open only during bakery business hours!
Liv For Sweets Bakery Hours:
Wednesday & Friday: 11am-6pm
Saturday: 10am-4pm
Drop off for gingerbread houses is December 1st & 2nd between 11am-6pm.
Voting opens to the community on Saturday, December 3rd and will continue through the 17th.
The winners will be announced December 19th.
*READ BELOW FOR ENTRIES*
- $15 entry fee, per gingerbread house.
- Bring your $15 entry fee with you when dropping off your gingerbread house December 1st & 2nd, between 11am-4pm.
- Voting will begin Saturday, December 3rd.
- All ages are welcome to enter!
- All houses must be full 3D gingerbread houses.
- Gingerbread house base pieces can be store bought (Walmart, Foodlion, Target, etc.), or homemade gingerbread, but everything used to decorate with must be edible.
- Be unique with your design! Get creative!
- All houses must be on a 12" x 15" board or smaller. (Walmart has sturdy cake boards located on the cake decorating isle.)
- Name your gingerbread house! When dropping off, you will fill out an entry card which will display your gingerbread name on it. Be creative! This is how the community will submit their votes!
- We will display the gingerbread houses in our party studio for the community to walk through and vote for their favorite! Tell your friends and family to come by and vote! You can vote once per day!
- Winners will be announced December 19th @ 6pm.
- Cash prizes, ribbons, and more will be given to 1st place in both kid and adult categories! Special Guest Pick will be the choice from our Special Guest!
** Cash prizes are based on the amount of participating contestants.
1st Place Kid Category - Ribbon + Cocoa Bomb Kit + Jr. Baking Set
1st Place Adult Category - $$ + Ribbon
Special Guest Overall Pick - Free Entry Next Year + LFS Gift Card + Ribbon
