Custom Cakes
Ordering Information
NOW BOOKING December 2026 & January 2027
Booking:
We typically recommend booking your custom cake 1-3 months ahead of time due to high demand.
Wedding orders we recommend to book 3-6 months in advance to guarantee your date.
Larger cakes can only be picked up during business hours and only at the Pilot Mountain location only.
All preorders need to be placed online or through email. Since Liv handles all cake orders, it's unlikely she can take any in person at the shop. However, if you email about a possible in-person consultation, she can send some availability.
Payments:
Because of the high demand for our custom cakes, your order will only be confirmed once the first 50% deposit is made.
Custom cakes require a 50% deposit, while all other celebration/heart cakes need to be paid in full upfront.
We accept all major credit cards, cash, or checks.
{There is a 4% credit card service fee for all orders}
Design:
We love crafting unique cakes, so if you share a picture of a cake, we won’t recreate it exactly.
Instead, we’ll design something similar, capturing the colors, style, and details you love most, but in Liv's style!
Please note, we will not accept an order if it includes an AI inspo image or any licensed characters (like Disney, Starbucks, Harry Potter, etc.).
Before submitting your custom cake form, be sure to check out our Celebration Cakes (different tab) to see if any of those designs fit your needs. There are also more sizes available in those set styles unlike custom cakes.
All custom orders must be placed at least 2 weeks before pickup, if we have availability.
Orders submitted after that will incur a 30% rush fee on the total amount.
For orders needed within 24 hours, if we can fit them into our schedule, a 40% rush fee will apply to the total amount.
Choosing the Right Size Cake
Deciding on the right cake size can be tricky, but our cake sizing guide below is here to help point you in the right direction!
Short 6" / 2 layer / serves 6-8 / $50+
6" / 3 layer / serves 10-12 / $80+
Tall 6" / 4 layer / serves 12-18 / $115+
Short 8" / 2 layer / serves 12-18 / $120+
8" / 3 layer / serves 18-24 / $150+
10"/ 3 layer / serves 28-34 / $220+
For two-tiered or larger cakes, we require more information before giving pricing.
We currently offer a maximum of a stacked three-tier cake.
Tiered cakes range from $8-$12 per serving.
Delivery and setup are available for larger cake orders (minimum of $300 order) upon request. For locations up to 30 minutes away, there is a $140 flat rate fee. For locations beyond 30 minutes, the fee will increase per mile.

For each custom cake, we enjoy collaborating with our clients to design a cohesive look that reflects their personal vision.
Inspiration pictures are incredibly helpful, and they don’t have to be limited to other cakes. Invitations or specific color schemes are also great for helping us craft the perfect creation.
Our favorite aesthetics include, but are not limited to:
Color palette themes, buttercream ruffles, edible glitter and luster, watercolor designs, chocolate drips, buttercream florals, and fresh flowers.
Placing Your Order
Please complete the form below with basic details about your custom order.
IF YOUR DATE IS NOT HIGHLIGHTED, IT MEANS WE ARE ALREADY BOOKED FOR THAT DAY.
After submitting your order, Liv will contact you via email to discuss your order further.
Be sure to have your inspo pictures ready before filling out the form.
Please allow up to 5 business days for us to respond to your request - as we are very busy.
If you submit a request during a holiday week, please give us a few extra days.
If you don’t hear back within 1-2 weeks, please resubmit your request.
Once your order is confirmed, a 50% deposit of your total order amount is required to secure your date on our calendar.
Until the deposit is made, your date is not secured and may become unavailable.

Pickup Info:
We are open Wednesday through Saturday for pickups.
All orders must be picked up on these days during business hours, no exceptions.
Cake Care Instructions:
Store in the fridge for up to 3-5 days. Allow the cake to reach room temperature 1-2 hours before serving.
Allergens:
Contains gluten, eggs, dairy, and may contain traces of nuts.
Please note, we are not a nut-free facility.
