My name is Alexa Young

Olivia (Liv) Rodgers discovered her passion for baking and designing and implementing new recipes at just 13 years old. What began as a creative outlet quickly grew into something more. By 2019, at only 21 years old, Liv turned her self-taught skills, creativity, and determination into a full-fledged business.

On August 10, 2019, Liv For Sweets Bakery opened its doors in downtown Pilot Mountain and quickly became known for its standout flavors, thoughtful designs, and made-from-scratch sweets. A 4x winner at the 2020 Queen City Cupcake Festival and recipient of multiple additional awards, the bakery has continued to grow both in reputation and reach.

In August 2025, Liv For Sweets expanded with the opening of its Mount Airy location - marking an exciting new chapter for the brand. Along the way, Liv For Sweets has been proudly featured in Our State Magazine, WXII 12 News, FOX 8 News, Forsyth Woman Magazine, and more, solidifying its place as a standout small business in North Carolina.

Today, Liv continues to push her creativity forward - expanding the menu, introducing new flavors, and delighting a growing community both locally and beyond.

If you’re planning to stop by after 2 p.m. to grab cupcakes from our case, I highly recommend pre-ordering a day in advance since our top sellers tend to sell out quickly. And don’t miss out on our Salted Chocolate Chunk Cookies - they're my favorite!

FEEDING A CROWD?

For smaller events, it’s always a good idea to order a bit extra. My pro tip: go for a smaller centerpiece cake and then mix it up with a variety of treats like cookie sammies, cakesicles, brownies, and more!
